built in 1835
The Manor has been the home of Cully family since 1960’s, and is a rambling grand country house of great charm and character. Rebuilt in 1835 in the gabled Elizabethan-Gothic style, its large, sunny rooms offer wonderful views of the Wicklow Mountains as its backdrop.
Surrounded by 40 acres of private gardens and winding woodland paths, guests can enjoy around our private lake, stroll or fish along the banks of the Brittas River running through the grounds, or explore the beauty of the surrounding countryside. In the evening guests can unwind in our elegant drawing rooms, and enjoy fine country-house cooking by candlelight in the panelled Gothic dining room.
Owner Margaret Cully, is an accomplished host and a dedicated gardener. Her daugther, Amaya, is an excellent cook and provides a superb dining experience. Catering for couples, small groups, and family gatherings, The Manor is a superb base for the areas' many outdoor activities, or for visiting many famous attractions and local events in and around Wicklow and its neighbouring counties.
We look forward to your stay.
